So Much Fun

Yesterday we went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park! It was so much fun!We went to a bird show and a Peregrine Falcon flew over our heads so low it knoked grandpa's hat over his eyes. We had such a good time. We went to two shows, went on a tour of ride (Tour Of Africa), and we wanderd. We saw two rhinos figting, it is was so cool, I mean how many people get to see that? Anyway I had a great time, and I got a really cool souvenir bag, here's a pic:

Like I said, I write.

In school we're doing our poetry unit and it's National Poetry Month.
Each day some one reads one of their poems on the morning announcements and today I'm going to read this poem:

“My Wild Field”

A place to lay
Whether night or day
The smell of grass
No longer walking on glass
A safe place to think

At night the stars are yours
And disappear the bores
Of life and woe
A place to go,
A safe place to sit and think

At day the sun hugs you warm
And the clouds take form
They show a story
Of love and glory
A safe place to watch and think

With some one or just alone
It makes you happy and smile prone
The crickets sing
The birds dance on wings
A safe place to dance and think

A place to be
When that’s all I need
A place for a date
To celebrate
A safe place for emotions to flow

I'm kind of nerves, but I'm still going to do it and I can't wait.

Later:
I think I did ok. Thats what my friends said anyway, but they might just be being nice.

7 things about me (I've been tagged)

Well, here I go:

1) I never sit normally or still on my seat. For example I'm sitting in my seat backwards, but 30 seconds ago I was sitting on my knees.

2) I love cantaloupe. I ate a whole half by myself yesterday.

3) I'm listning to Colbie Caillat's CD, Coco.

4) I like to write. I wrote this for school. (I was having a really bad day, but I kind of like it)

- Ignored

- The one in the corner
- The one with the voice
- That no one hears
- The one seems
- Full of tears

- She tries to express
- Her hurt in side
- But people ignore
- And it seems like she never tried.

- The pain
- The ache
- The hurt
- The big mistake

- Silent like a mouse
- A player with no record
- She moves her mouth
- And the words are never heard

- No one feels her pain
- No one feels her ache
- No one feels her hurt
- No one understands the big mistake

- Her tears silently whisper
- That no one loves her
- That no one cares
- And that no one ever will

- Her journal really knows her
- But he’s the only one
- She’s never known
- What it means to have fun

- All she knows is sadness
- A lonely growling feeling
- And she’s never thought
- That she’s at all appealing

- Many think she’s trouble
- Many think she’s strange
- If they took time to know her,
- But they’ll never change

5) I've started a science fiction story (and I've only told really close friends so this is a big step)

6) I'm the master of Twister. It's offical, I had a compition with some friends.

7) I can touch my tongue to my nose and cross my eyes at the same time. It's quite a sight.

Who shall be my victims? Ok, I've got it:
