CTR

Ok, I now have a reason for why I wear some form of CTR jewelry every day, whether neckless or ring.

So I was at school. I wasn't having a very good day, the certain huge head I have to sit next to in Math (first period) had gotten into a fight with me. On my way to third period. I asked my friend if it was an A-day or B-day (I have art on an A-day and Gym on B). She told it was a B-day. Here are the exact words of the conversation from that point on.

Me - "Oh, shoot, I forgot we had gym, I'm going to boil in this shirt (it was very heavy) and I don't have anything to change into, I already cleaned out my gym lockers." (Now in the locker room)

Her - "I have a tank top you can use." (She took a V-neck, spaghetti tank top, almost a belly shirt, out of her bag)

Me - "Thanks, but I shouldn't"

Her - "Why not?" (in a very offended voice)

Me - "Nothing against you I swear, but it's against school rules"

Her - "So what, every one else does anyway."

Me - "And you haven't learned by now I don't follow the crowd?" (I'm a loser and I love it no matter how strange that seems)

Her - "Well, would you rather boil or break a rule."

Me - (At this point I didn't want to talk about it any more. When I get frustrated my hands impulsively come up to my face, so when this happened my hands fell on my CTR neckless. Good timing right?) "Well, It's also immodest and against my religion."

Her - "What?" (Sounded like she thought I was crazy)

Me - "Well, I don't think it's right to show so much skin and neither does my religion."

Then she began to pester me about why I follow all (in her words) 'the crazy rules' of my religion. The whole time I was hanging on to my neckless like a life preserver. I told her I did because I thought that that was what was right. I knew she was going to keep bugging me, but just then the coach, Mrs.P, told us to go out into the gym and my friend was supposed to go to the other side of the gym.

See now I have a reason for wearing the same jewelry every day.

Intriguing Question

Ok, this really makes me think and put things in perspective. Please tell me your answer and give it a lot of thought. Anyway here's the question.

What do you think you would see in the Mirror of Erised from Harry Potter?

I've been thinking about this a lot. It's amazing how different people's answers can be from each other. So leave a comment, and really think about it.

Learning and Crying Sometimes Go Together

Maybe some of you have noticed that I've been reading about World War II. I've read about the American Soilders, the Innocent victims of Bikini, Hitler's youth, but mostly I've read about the holocaust survivors and defier. I have learned a lot. I never knew how blessed I am untill I put myself into the place of the people in my books. I've learned so mush from a pile of paper. I never thought I could learn so much just from my books. I also never thought I could cry so much. Because I read so much at school when I cry people (teachers) have stopped asking if I'm ok, now my friends ask what book I was reading. I just want to say to who ever might see this that if you know some one who seem's like they don't have a heart make them read about the holocaust, I think these storries could break down almost anyone

Frightening

I was at school and I wasn't feeling to hot. So I went to the nurse. When I got there there was a bit of a crisis. The nurse was standing by the door listning to the students complaining, then turning every single one around back to class. When I get my turn I tell her that I'm feeling light headed, queasy, and that I felt like I was going to passout in Art. Then She told me to come into her office. I had no idea why I was being treated when everyone else had to go back to class and then the ambulance arives. I had no clue why it was there and then I relized that there was a student in one of the cots that looked unconscious (he was conscious, but just). I still didn't know why I was being helped when something like this was going on. I watched them role the boy out on a strecher and then the nurse started to talk to me. She told me that I was sharing some of the same symptoms as the boy. How scary is that?!?!?! Apparently he wasn't even the first one to go to the emergency room (this week and last) from our school area. They think it might be something in the air system. But thats a little unnerving, right?!??!??!??!
